Hello Dancers and Parents! My name is Abigail Fine and I am the Director of The Dance Academy at Siagel Productions. I would like to personally welcome you to The Dance Academy and share a little about myself. My passion for dance began at age 3. I danced everyday throughout my youth. My dance teacher became one of my best friends and my mentor for life. My career in dance started at 12 when I was invited to begin a teaching certification program. In college I received a degree with a double major in Exercise Physiology, Nutrition/Health, and Dance Therapy. Today, I am fully certified by the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and Dance Masters of America. I feel it is important that I bring my knowledge of nutrition and exercise psychology to our dance environment. I lead our instructors to be sensitive to each child as a growing and thriving individual. I aim to put the “fun” in the fundamentals of dance and make this a dance school for every body!

My favorite aspect of my wonderful role as teacher and director is getting to know all of our dancers and parents. I have enjoyed speaking with you on the phone and can’t wait to dance with your children. I will impart my love for dance and my passion for expression on both my teachers and our dancers. In return I will ask that our dancers always give us their personal best. It is my goal that your dancer will leave here with improved confidence and a better understanding of his or her body control, strength, and movement.

So dress them in black, pull their hair back, get the shoes and LET’S DANCE!!!
